           The Valentine’s Day was celebrated from many years ago. All of people know about that. At the 14th February comes as a Valentine’s Day. There are a lot of gift are like candies, flowers and anything more. It will exchange between loved ones. The Valentine’s Day still have a mysterious story. No one knows what a true story is behind celebrated of Valentine. But there is a name which related of Valentine. He is St. Valentine. But no one knows about him. He is a mysterious saint.

            There are many stories which can show why we celebrated of Valentine’s Day. One of story said that St. Valentine contained investigated of both Christian and ancient Roman tradition. Valentine or Valentinus are recognized by a Catholic Church but no one related them with rose or chocolate. St. Valentine is a priest whom served in Rome. At 270 A.D there is someone whom name Emperor Claudius II. He is prohibited marriages for young men. He thought that young men better be soldiers. Although it is prohibited by Emperor but St. Valentine try to help young men who want to marriages. So he continued to perform a secret marriage ceremony for them. It is apprehended by Romans and Claudius then ordered put to death.

            Another legend said that Claudius imprisoned Valentine because feel in love with his jailer’s daughter who visited him during confinement. And then Claudius ordered him to execute. Before that Valentine send her letter to him loved one. A letter signed ‘From your Valentine’. The sentence is an affection of love until now. It can mark that first affection of love was begin by Valentine performed. So when month of love come is named Valentine’s Day. The story about Valentine is most plausible. This is not mean passion of love but also Christian love which refusing his region.

            St. Valentine died was 14th February and celebrated by Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day was attempt by pagan Lupercalia festival on 15th February. Lupercalia was Roman God of agriculture as the Roman founders and Remus. By Pope Gelasius !4th February was decelerated as a St. Valentine day. But the Lupercalia Festival was deemed as unchristian and outlawed.

Cupid will shot and make them fell in love. Venus cried and her treasure fell on white roses. She cried because he loss her beloved Adonis. When her son stung by a bee Cupid shoot hit the Garden Roses. And then the sting became thorns of roses. The rose is red because Venus pricked her foot on a thorn and droplets that roses.
