The Notebook: a Mega Tear-Jerker Romantic Movie as a Must-Watch Romantic Gift
If you are both a couple who like watching romantic movies, so what if you ask your partner to watch together one of the most recommended romantic movies, The Notebook movie. It is one of many other romantic gifts to enjoy together by sitting together in front of the show, while perhaps, enjoying some popcorn and great beverages together as well. Let’s see what The Notebook movie tells about law of attraction and of course, love. It was in incredibly beautiful locations in South Carolina for this a truly romantic movie shot. It was the film version of romance novel, The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. And that I do honestly, it is one of my favorite romantic movies – as it also explains the law of attraction wonderfully. It’s really a mega tear-jerker classic romantic movie as one of the most wonderful romantic gifts that must to watch.
The Notebook movie begins from wrong ends of the social spectrum fall in love despite the vociferous objection of the girl’s super rich family, there are a young man named Noah (starring Ryan Gosling), who at the opening of the movie, spots the love of his life and a radioactively attractive Allie Hamilton (starring Rachel McAdams). It is Noah who falls instantly in love with Allie from the moment he sees her. In one scene, Noah shares that he wants to build a house some day on this very site and he starts to talk about what it will look like and where also Noah and Allie are in a big old run down house where they are going to make love for the first time. In some dialog of theirs, Noah promises then and there that he will build whatever Allie wants.
Throughout the movie, his love for her never falters, not once, even after when her parents forced Allie to leave the town where the two young lovers met because her parents do not want their daughter marrying a low-class man but Noah never stops loving her. Then before Noah goes off to Europe in time of WW-II (World War), he continues to work at a lumberyard while Allie leaves town for Sarah Lawrence College. Subsequently, while he’s in Europe for WW-II, Noah tries keeping his connection to Allie by writing her 365 letters in 365 days. But Allie’s manipulative mother conveniently hides Noah’s letters so that Allie doesn’t even know that Noah keeps on contacting her by his letters. Because Noah does not write to her, Allie then thinks that Noah doesn’t want to see or hear from her again. Afterwards, Lon, another man whom Allie was once volunteering as a nurse to help the ailing veterans in hospital where she meets Lon, a wounded soldier at the time, is a handsome guy of the cotton king of south. So, Allie agrees to marry him when Lon asks her.
Noah afterwards goes to a town for some business, as he also refuses to quit dreaming about Allie and setting up to build the home he promised long time ago to Allie as their future home, and then on the street he ends up seeing Allie. He observes her meeting Lon, her new fiancée at the time he follows her. He then goes back home with a kind of snaps emotionally and with a fury like he had never before, he begins to renovate the old house that his father has bought him. It’s just like the idea of creating this which Allie wanted and that believing that she would return to him – this is what he obsesses with.
During then, Allie faints and begins to think of Noah non-stop even though her fiancée Lon is waiting her, when she sees a photo of Noah at his newly renovated house in the paper. In order to see how Noah is, Allie decides to take a few days off to go and to pay a visit him. Noah’s love for Allie becomes immediately rekindled as he also is stunned by her visit as well. Now the universe has summoned the resources to connect the two of them again and that Noah has never stopped wanting her. “What one thinks about and feels about – gets brought about…” This is the Law of Attraction in Action!
The white house with blue trim and a porch around the whole house and a room where Allie can do her painting; this is what Noah did exactly as he had agreed to do it several years ago, the new renovated house where they spend time at a while there – it’s when they first made love in previous years, it’s the same house! The old times and how they really loved each other back then are what they talk and reminiscing about. Then the next day, Noah invites Allie to go for a boat ride and the rain starts to pour while they are rowing it.
She confronts Noah and asks him about why he never wrote her a letter at the end of the boat ride. Allie just gets confused because she did not receive any of the letters which Noah tells her that he wrote her 365 letters, one a day for a year. Then Allie’s mother is whom she confronts with about the missing letters, which later the letters given to Allie by her mother – the ones who disagree to Allie’s relationship with Noah.
Noah says in anger, “Stop thinking about what everyone else wants!” Noah yells, “What do you want? What do you want?” This is where a dramatic moment of this classic romantic movie about the key question arrives from Noah to Allie. It is a choice between whether Noah or Lon, which Allie realizes she has to make about it. Later, of course, Allie chooses Noah. To near the end of their lives, the story rushes forward. Noah is staying in the hospital where Allie treated because of she has alzheimer disease and to the other side on screen together they transition.
It’s definitely become one of the must-see classic romantic movies you can even collect the DVD to be one of your greatest collection romantic gifts ever recommended! Sit back and watch with your sweetie who sits right next to you!
